This Week in Costa Rica

Only on the Overseas Radio Network!

This Week in Costa Rica is a weekly, online radio program and podcast by US expat, Dan Stevens

Global TESOL College, Costa Rica

This week Corey spends the first hour of the program talking with Dan Stevens from the Costa Rican Times about a variety of topics in Costa Rica.  Everything from Government ineffectiveness to the new private highway being built to San Ramon.  Lisle Head joins us in studio for the second half of the hour to catch up on the happenings in Jacó beach, Costa Rica.

The second hour is all things ESL (English as a Second Language).  Corey and Andrew Woodbury announce the opening of the Global TESOL College in Jacó beach.

TESOL or Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages and TEFL or Teachers of English as a Foreign Language are two types of certification that equip individuals with the knowledge and processes they will need for a career in teaching English. TESOL/TEFL certification is a standard requirement for teaching English in schools worldwide and neither certification is preferred over the other. TESOL/TEFL certification greatly improves the likelihood of getting a job teaching English anywhere in the world.

Owner and founder of the Costa Rica branch of Global TESOL, Andre Sigourney, joins Corey for the second half of the hour to discuss his experiences teaching English in Costa Rica, and opening a teacher training center in Coronado.

Options to enroll in the month-long training programs are being offered at a discount exclusively through This Week in Costa Rica.  Email and mention ORN to receive a special quote and package deal!
